This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured with flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It utilizes a 326 JM motor frame style with feet and requires a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is configured for across the line starting and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.92.
