This centrifugal end suction pump incorporates a class 30 cast iron casing with center-line discharge and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design, which isolates the stainless steel shaft from the circulating fluid by utilizing a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Sealing is managed by a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal, rated for 125 PSI. Integrally cast mounting feet on the casing support the pump structure, allowing for service without disturbing the system piping.
The motor provides 15 HP, utilizes premium efficiency, is constructed with a TEFC enclosure, operates at 3450 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and is powered by a 200-230V / 3PH supply, resulting in a DOE: PEI of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
