This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184 T frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and supports across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler with a protective guard and greasable bearings in the bearing frame. This pump has a PEI value of 0.85.
