This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 184T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.88 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
