This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 7-1/2 HP, TEFC, Baldor premium efficiency motor meeting MG1-12.55 standards. The unit is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor uses a NEMA 213 T frame. The pump is mounted on a welded base featuring an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard housing a Woods coupler. This equipment has a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.92.
