This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections to facilitate gauge monitoring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is configured with a 324TS NEMA motor frame. It is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting a Woods coupler. This pump features a DOE PEI value of 0.88 and operates on a 60Hz power supply. The assembly utilizes permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings housed within a cast iron bearing frame.
