This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid movement at pressures up to 125 PSI. The construction incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve, while the dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal assembly comprising an EPT rubber component and a ceramic seat half ensures containment within the pump volute. The unit is engineered with center-line discharge to allow for positive air venting and provides access for servicing without the removal of system piping.
The motor provides 200 HP with premium efficiency, a TEFC enclosure, and operates at 1750 RPM; it incorporates Aegis grounding and functions on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
