This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components. This unit operates in clean water applications with temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame that operates at 1750 RPM. Power requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with an across the line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, a coupler guard, and greasable bearings. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.88 and functions in a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
