This end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration, preventing contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber provides sealing, while flush seal line taps permit the installation of protective filtration. Integrated suction and discharge pressure tappings assist in monitoring system conditions. The assembly maintains a 125 PSI pressure rating.
Powered by a 3 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, the assembly runs on 380-460V 3PH power and possesses a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
