This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump includes a rear pullout design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame with feet. The motor is housed in a TEFC enclosure and operates on a 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3 PH power supply with across-the-line starting. This unit meets NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and is rated for 40°C ambient temperature. The assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
