This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. It is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. The design incorporates a rear pullout assembly, a dry shaft configuration, and flush seal line taps. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and piping alignment.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 254JM frame with feet, features AEGIS shaft grounding, and operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power. It complies with premium efficiency standards, meeting MG1-12.55 requirements, and operates within a 40 °C ambient temperature. The assembly provides a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
