This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber with a temperature rating of 225°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and the bearing housing uses sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, and the assembly has a PEI rating of 0.89. The unit functions in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
