This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 7-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design using a stainless steel shaft and a stainless steel shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 1-1/2 HP motor in a NEMA 145 frame. The TEFC, WEG premium efficiency motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz for across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.85 and an HI energy rating of 15, suitable for a 40 °C ambient temperature environment.
