This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and the assembly is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps for optional filter installation. A rear pullout design allows for internal servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 3450 RPM. The motor is built on a 213 JM frame style with feet and utilizes across the line starting. The power requirement is 230/460/60/3PH. The motor complies with NEMA standards, operates in a 40°C ambient environment, and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings, which includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump rotation is CCW. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
