This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 324TS NEMA frame. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit runs on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses across the line starting. It is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration maintains an ambient temperature rating of 40°C and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
