This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration provides self-venting capabilities.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a drip cover. The motor is built on a 215 JM frame with feet and is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power with an across the line starting option. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit has a PEI of 0.86.
