This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve on a stainless steel shaft. It includes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The 13-1/2" nominal diameter impeller is dynamically balanced, and the design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 286T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and features a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the unit has a PEI value of 0.9. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
