This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction includes a rear pullout design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 324JM motor frame. The system operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standards, operates in a 40°C ambient temperature, and utilizes across-the-line starting with CCW rotation. The motor includes premium efficiency ratings and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
