This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel. The unit includes a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and features pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and is housed in a NEMA 256 T frame with AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. The equipment meets premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.92. It is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
