This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP, 230-460/60/3PH TEFC motor. The motor is a Baldor premium efficiency unit in a NEMA 284TS frame, which includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. It utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard guard for connection to the pump. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. This pump is configured for across the line starting and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
