This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump has a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. The unit features a cast iron casing with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design includes a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges for system connection.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and uses a 100 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 405TS NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 460V, 60Hz, 3PH with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It includes a Woods coupler and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets the Premium Efficiency standard per MG1-12.55, with a Pump Energy Index (PEI) value of 0.94.
