This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The cast iron casing houses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for internal servicing, while the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and simplified piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. This motor features an ODP enclosure, a 213 JM frame with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates on 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, with an ambient temperature rating of 40°C. This unit carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
