This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump construction supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and supports self-venting. Flush seal line taps are provided to allow for the installation of a filter.
The pump is configured with a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 326 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a PEI value of 0.89.
