This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping.
This pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor utilizes an 184JM frame style with feet and operates at 1750 RPM. It features an AEGIS shaft grounding device, a 40°C ambient temperature rating, and CCW rotation. The unit meets NEMA standards and has a PEI of 0.91. The motor complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The pump is configured in a close-coupled mounting arrangement.
