This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pull-out design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping.
This pump is configured with a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 3450 RPM. It features a NEMA JM frame style with feet and a premium efficiency rating that meets MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor operates on a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply using an across the line starting method. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and counter-clockwise rotation. The unit provides a DOE PEI of 0.89.
