This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and the pump includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is configured with a 215 JM frame with feet and uses a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the pump assembly maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.92. It incorporates a top center line discharge configuration to simplify piping layouts and facilitate self-venting.
