This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid, while the mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and utilizes a rear pullout design for maintenance access. The top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes a 256 JM motor frame with feet. The starting configuration is across the line, and the pump features an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C. This equipment has a PEI of 0.91.
