This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 2 HP Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame with feet. This TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and is compatible with 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supplies. The motor meets NEMA standards, operates at a 40°C ambient temperature, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor configuration supports across-the-line starting and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
