This end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design rated for 125 PSI. A mechanical seal, comprising a ceramic seat and EPT rubber, prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The volute includes a center-line discharge for venting and gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit utilizes a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by a 200-230V 3PH supply, achieving a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
