This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. A ceramic seal seat with EPT components manages fluid containment, with the pump rated for 125 PSI. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate monitoring.
Powered by a 20 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor at 1750 RPM, the assembly integrates Aegis Grounding and operates on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, achieving a DOE PEI rating of 0.48. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
