This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, permitting operation in clean water at temperatures up to 300°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to isolate the circulating fluid from the shaft components.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and utilizes a NEMA 256T frame. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI rating of 0.97. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard.
