This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit is configured with a 20 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 256T frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460/60/3 power using an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a PEI value of 0.92.
