This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The internal assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for operation up to 225°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections along with flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM with a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 182T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and carries a DOE PEI of 0.86.
