This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design, which prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft and its replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. Sealing is managed by a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber mechanical seal, and the pump casing supports an operating pressure of 125 PSI with an integrated wear ring.
This pump utilizes a 15 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, incorporating Aegis grounding on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
