This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service and maintenance without disturbing the connected system piping.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and includes a drip cover. It operates at 1150 RPM and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor utilizes a 215 JM frame style with feet and provides premium efficiency in accordance with NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump features a top center line discharge design to simplify piping layouts and facilitate self-venting.
