This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The unit is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is housed in a NEMA 254T frame and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and functions at a 40°C ambient temperature.
