This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The casing includes suction and discharge gauge ports and a drain port at the base.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 256 T frame. It operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The unit includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This motor is a premium efficiency model meeting MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. It is rated for 40°C ambient temperature environments and has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
