This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are integrated to allow for the installation of a filter, and the rear pullout design enables servicing of the internal components without disturbing the system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a 143 JM frame style with feet. The electrical input is 230-460V/60/3PH, and the unit utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.88. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
