This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured with an NEMA 182 T-frame, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor uses across the line starting and connects to the pump via a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This model has a PEI value of 0.85 and meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards.
