This Taco FI Series frame-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction port and a 1-1/4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor on a NEMA 254 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard utilizing a Woods coupler. The pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI rating of 0.85.
