This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly incorporates a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing also includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA with a Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.86 and uses permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings.
