This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and features greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 60 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 364 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3. The motor is premium efficiency and meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. The pump maintains a PEI value of 0.93.
