This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to protect the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of a filter.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and drip cover. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet, designed for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. It includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump uses an across-the-line starting option and features a counter-clockwise rotation. This unit has a PEI of 0.91.
