This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump casing includes bronze wear rings, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured with a 324 JM frame style featuring feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
