This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing is equipped with suction and discharge pressure tappings and flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP, 230-460/60/3 Baldor motor. This motor features an ODP enclosure, premium efficiency, and a 145 T-frame. The system is configured for across the line starting with CCW rotation and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor connects to the pump via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard, and the entire assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. This model has a DOE PEI of 0.91 and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards with AEGIS shaft grounding.
