This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings, and the casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and 184T NEMA frame style. It is configured for a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit features a PEI of 0.91 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation.
