This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and an integrally cast bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, maintaining an operational pressure rating of 125 PSI. Sealing occurs through a mechanical seal comprising a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components, which accommodates operational temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump utilizes a 75 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, integrated with Aegis grounding and powered by a 380-460V 3PH supply, achieving a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
