This end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, shielded by a dry shaft construction to prevent circulating fluid contact. Mechanical sealing utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber assembly, rated for 125 PSI operation. This configuration allows for maintenance of the pump assembly without disturbing the connected system piping.
The 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and accepts a 380-460V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
