This end suction centrifugal pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. A bronze shaft sleeve protects the shaft, while the dry shaft design prevents circulating fluid from contacting the internal shaft assembly. The mechanical seal utilizes ceramic and EPT materials, providing a pressure rating of 125 PSI. Integrally cast mounting feet support the volute, which allows for servicing without disturbing the connected system piping.
The assembly is powered by a 100 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding and a 380-460V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a mechanical disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
