This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter. It includes a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor features an ODP enclosure in a 215 JM frame with feet, configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The unit utilizes an across-the-line starting option and is rated for operation at a 40°C ambient temperature. The assembly has a PEI of 0.86. The motor is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
